  I was assigned to inspect the incoming casting components whether they are suitable for machining or not. After machining it was my job check each and every component so that they meet customer drawing requirement because every component are machined by conventional machines. My job also includes preparing Balloon dimensions for drawings, preparing quality check sheet for machining stage. Following document like Stage inspection report, Final inspection report, Daily production Report, Machining Loading Sheet. I was also trained in using Powder coating test, metal detecting test.   My responsibilities relate to line inspection of valve components and pipelines made for customers like Gorter , Bhel RMG during machining stage and guide the operators to ensure dimension control in stage wise machining. Also checking components made by vertical and horizontal turning lathe. Inspecting components GD&T specified in drawings Verifying Straightness, parallelism, Flatness , Phaseout.   LGB industry manufactures various components like chains, sprockets and other automobile parts, etc. With the help of poke yoke machines we create chains. The spare part of poke yoke machine, was machined at various machines like grinding, drilling and polishing. All those spare parts are machined with 0.5 mm stock by us. I used to inspect all those components which are used for poke yoke. I had played a vital role as a final inspection

  I am currently working in Daimler Project for past several months. I am inspecting the components like Bharat Benz engine block, Bharat Benz Engine Head, Nissan Engineer Block, Bombardier Gear Casing for the Quality check sheet, dimensions tolerances. Preparing reports for material and machining rejections. Inspecting all the dimensions for quality check sheet, roughness tester to know the values of RA d RZ. Finally I visually focus the dimension to identify the dent, line mark, sand inclusion, blow holes and other kinds of problems too. I am currently being trained in CMM, Contour Surface Tester, handling Trimos Tool and magnetic particle inspection. I have Applied FMEA in each and every documentation while preparing quality chart and tables. Show less
