  Before I went to university my main activity was as chairman of Headway Falkirk / Forth Valley (Brain Injury charity) where I was solely in charge of media relations. I am personally invested by having brain tumours removed in early life. I made it my responsibility to provide a monthly newsletter which was distributed to members, and some local GP’s and hospital wards. As part of the creation of this each month I would visit local rotary clubs, etc to give presentations on acquired brain injury. I would also contact media on a regular basis (Falkirk herald / central fm). As chairman I created press releases when necessary and dealt with incoming information (NHS / government / etc).   Request management operations analyst

  The vast majority of h-Scottish Widows business has now aligned with LBG IT Workplace Request process, and are successfully using OrderIT. The only remaining business unit which h-ITAM are still supporting is SWIP (Scottish Widows Investment Partnership) who are the Investment arm of h-SW. They comprise approx 500 people, and are both prominent and demanding customers with high expectations. They use a number of non-standard hardware, software and telephony assets which is why it has been more of a challenge to integrate them onto OrderIT.As an interim solution SWIP requests are still being made using the h-SW methods and the remaining ITAM team are keying them into OrderIT and managing them. We are also involved with the project tasked with fully aligning SWIP to the central LBG Model. Show less

  Access disability network rep for Edinburgh Sighthill Head Office. Access is a colleague network for disabled colleagues, carers and line managers of affected colleagues. This is a personal passion of mine and one that I love to forward as part of my current role on a voluntary basis. The main focus of my current post is to increase customer satisfaction and experience using our workflow tool. Working remotely as part of a team, investigating all exceptions and requests to our team for all hardware/software/telephony/profile requests. Amending background SQL databases.
