      Coordinated engineering improvement (EI) changes to existing parts/dies. Determined/submitted cost quotes of EI change requests for Chgo. Stamping parts. Tracked all changes while ensuring the completion timing was met, and funding was transferred. Managed the multi-million dollar T&D budget, including department employee hourly wages.-Directed projects for several New Model Builds, including the new 2006 Ford 500/Freestyle Launch.-Coordinated rework, production runs, and timely shipment of over 3000 Parts prior to Job 1 to support the Build. Coordinated all necessary engineering change work during Launch, which resulted in $415,000 in plant revenue.       Managed engineering and design development activities from concept stage through production release including: material selection, FMEA, all functional evaluation through lab testing, and quality assurance.-Achieved (GM) approval of a European expandable adhesive for use on a global TekFast plug in response to a GM Test Work Order. Managed all aspects of the testing, from interpreting all GM test requirements, sample preparation and trial testing to directing the efforts of independent test lab.-Adhesive approval resulted in launch of global TekFast plug across all GM platforms, volume of 20 million plugs per year.-Designed over 20 injection molded plastic components and fastener concepts (in 1.5 yrs.) for Ford, GM, and Nissan applications.-Launched over 10 new designed TekFast products to GM, Ford, and Nissan.       As Senior Matl. Analyst, responsible for using MRP and sending weekly JIT releases to our 4 largest suppliers, in support of Ford Chicago Assy. Plant's Explorer/Aviator daily requirements. Ensure over 100 Actual purchased component plant inventory levels are in agreement with our SAP-ERP system inventory BOH's via cycle program, and manage their JIT deliveries into the Plant. -Reduced in-plant inventory of my assigned suppliers product by 15% after 2 months.-Manage our E. Chicago, IN warehouse. Responsibilities include coordinating all deliveries into and out of the warehouse, along with inventory control of all service components, containers, and equipment located there.-Ford Customer Service Division (Lead). Identified all 23 Service components Tower Chicago. responsible to supply, ensuring our capability of producing these levels and rolled out to Operations. -Concurrent role since 2014. Identify weekly FCSD requirements for current and past model service parts and responsible for parts being produced, packaged, audited, and shipped on time.-Average of 95% Monthly FCSD Delivery Rating since Sept. 2014. Show less Assigned project of clearing out all (now) obsolete automotive parts from former D258-385/U502 Program, stored in 50K sq.ft. area of our East Chicago, IN warehouse.-Responsible for hiring, right-sizing, and managing the Temporary staff along with analyzing/procuring required equipment necessary to scrap out and recycle all parts and containers from the warehouse.-Concurrent role with my daily Material Analyst and FCSD daily/weekly responsibilities. Over the length of the Project, spent 2-3 early morning hours daily at the Plant and then headed to warehouse for balance of the day, working hands on with Temp. staff.-Half of the old program parts in the 50K sq.ft. area over time had collapsed and spilled due to non-temperature regulated warehouse. Staff and I were able to completely clean out the warehouse in 2.5 months (over 2 weeks ahead of the required completion date), coming in 40% Under budget in equipment expenditure. Show less Manager of temporary 105K sq. ft. start-up warehouse used to house a one-month bank build of all Tower Chgo. produced U502 Explorer and D258/385 Taurus components to fully support end of the Program (daily) requirements from 2/1/2019 - 3/1/2019 at Ford Chgo. Assy. Tower Chgo. was being converted over to new U625/611 Explorer/Lincoln Aviator model during this month of February.-Responsible for full FIFO layout of multiple Explorer/Taurus Finish Good (FG) component groups between 10K-17K parts of each, and their production racks. Extreme attention paid to daily inventory counts to meet pre-set Bank Build requirements needed to cover Program balance out.-Daily responsibilities included hiring, right-sizing, and managing the 15 member Temporary staff and procuring equipment necessary to complete the bank build. All facility issues, time-keeping, managing the inventory, ensuring the loaded FG material for the bank was unloaded and correctly stored per layout.-Concurrent role managing Export operations which was transferred to the same off-site warehouse.
