  As Head of Contracts, I developed the company's first set of standard contract forms for works/services/engineering subcontracts, and hire purchase. My specialisation is diligence of large deals, and carefully analysing provisions that dictate how changes to the work are implemented once the need arises. The largest of those was for an EPC contract of USD 750 mn, where the final settlement of change order was USD 55 mn.In this role, I have also coached my team and mentored junior colleagues on clauses that can be risky, dispute avoidance, and ensuring that the company does not face contractual challenges in recovering payments for extra works that invariably get performed.   My current work is the contract administration on a refinery project with a design capacity of 230,000 barrels of crude oil per day, by 2022. Ours is an EPC, i.e. engineering, procurement, and construction contract worth approximately USD 2.1 bn, with Petrofac in JV with Samsung Engineering. As the Contracts Manager of the JV, my responsibilities include ensuring contractual compliance, preparation of claims for timely revenue recognition and collaborating with our JV partner's contracts team. Our JV has so far has ensured this.My previous role in Petrofac was as a member in the Claims Cell of the Commercial Department in our home office. I was in an advisory role to various ongoing and completed projects, to ensure timely revenue collection and recognition.During the initial 12 months with the company, I provided contracts support to several large-value (over USD 1 bn) proposals, of which the successfully ones totaled USD 6.5 bn in revenues.
