  Health and Safety Consultant for the Arts, Culture and Community Services, Planning, Urban Design & Sustainability, and the Development, Buildings and Licenses Groups for the City of Vancouver. In this role, I supported the three business unit General Managers by providing advice to management, supervisors and staff to ensure H&S compliance is achieved. As a member of the Safety team, I worked collaboratively with other safety consultants within the City, as well as liaising with Officers from WorkSafeBC, or members of the BC Municipal Safety Association and other external stakeholders as required. Day-to-day, I responded to requests for guidance and information on safety compliance, tracked and presented safety metrics, conducted site inspections as well as identified hazards and conducted risk assessments. In addition, I sat on 9 different Health and Safety Committees acting as a resource and facilitator.
