  Mr. Whitson has worked on the installation of soil boring and groundwater monitoring wells. He has performed sampling and development of groundwater monitoring wells including low-flow purging and sampling. He has performed various methods of soil and groundwater collection and has processed samples utilizing various types of sampling methods. Such sampling methods include, but are not limited to, EPA Method 5035 soil sampling for volatile organic compounds.Mr. Whitson has performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) in accordance with the ASTM standards for real estate transactions.Mr. Whitson has collected wastewater and groundwater samples for various industrial and commercial facilities. He has performed RCRA compliance inspections and has operated a pH treatment system at a local industrial facility. He has prepared daily monitoring reports for a local industrial facility. Mr. Whitson has assisted in environmental projects involving aquifer surveys, terrain conductivity surveys, and environmental surveys to support remediation planning.   Jacob has experience in a broad range of environmental activities including site assessment, permitting, installation of wells and remedial systems, remedy O&M, database management, coordination with and oversight of subcontractors, and data evaluation/mapping using ArcGIS, Surfer, and AutoCAD. He also has additional expertise with Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with the ASTM standards, research, coordination of field events, comprehensive knowledge of environmental monitoring equipment, and preparation of various reports. Jacob also coordinates allocation of equipment/resources for various field efforts at active aerospace and other manufacturing sites, as well as sites regulated by RCRA, CERCLA, and various state and local regulations. Jacob is also experienced in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Surfer, and other data evaluation/presentation software. Work includes ESRI database, mapping, modeling, design plans and specifications, potentiometric surface and plume mapping, statistical evaluation of data trends, and report preparation for a variety of projects and clients.
