      Family Nurse Practitioner

Currently Faculty at UT Health San Antonio Mays Cancer Center where I help manage patients with active cancer and those in survivorship and surveillance. A main focus of my position is making sure patients tolerate their anti-cancer treatments which include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other antineoplastic modalities. Monitoring patients on Clinical Trials is another unique aspect of my job. A big focus of my position also involves patient education on various areas of the oncological experience. Being bilingual in Spanish further allows me to care for our huge Spanish speaking patient population at our facility. Show less
