  This role is a continuation of the "Assistant Collections Manager" position which reflects a change in title and an evolution of responsibilities as part of a larger restructuring of several positions within WHS. Involves physical curation of collections through organizing, tracking, storing, documenting, and preparing artifacts from the Wisconsin Historical Society's museum object collection, as well as managing artifact files on the society's digital database. Other duties: facilities tours, AV/tech support, pest mitigation and monitoring, object egress planning, project tracking, storage environment optimization Limited term position designed to provide support to the WHS Artifacts and Collections team during the late stages of the collection's move to the new State Archive Preservation Facility.
