Interact with client teams and suppliers on a day to day basis. • Led a strategic sourcing event on behalf of a Fortune 200 utility to procure an independent reviewer of nuclear power plant EPC schedule. Procurement took 5 weeks from issuance of RFP to the closing analysis of submittals. The results of my efforts yielded approximately 60% saving to the allotted budget. • Performed audits of purchase orders for nuclear engineering work for a Fortune 200 utility. Validated wage rates, expenses, hours, etc., billed against contract terms and conditions. Identified 5% of the total billed dollars to be unjustified/mistakes and communicated with vendors to correct those mistakes on future PO’s. • Performed a benchmark analysis of construction services for a Fortune 200 utility’s nuclear power plant water intake. Collected similar scope of work and spend data to benchmark labor rates, markups, and expenses.
