  Working with the Boston team to host a Boston Vaccine Day and weekend of celebration and remembrance of lives lost. I am the team lead for the Day of Remembrance for Lives Lost in which we partner with religious and faith communities in the Boston area to host Memorial services and encourage the uptake of vaccines, specially amongst the hardest hit communities. This is my field education internship for the summer 2021.

  This fellowship draws emerging scholars from across a variety of disciplines and departments throughout the university in hopes of engaging in the academic study of religion in creative, dynamic, and timely ways. Fellows are expected to conduct research on topics of religion in public life which will then be presented and critiqued by Duke faculty and will be published on the Kenan Institute for Ethics website.

  The program objectives are to build a nationwide network of emerging leaders to organize with discipline and unity and to create positive societal change based on the revolutionary nonviolent perspective that transformed the nation and the world toward freedom - the American Civil Right Movement. The program is taught in part by the people who made historical change -- and by those are who are making it today. Fellows are graduate students and others beginning vocations in public service, nonprofits, education, and seminary. These rising leaders were selected to examine the nonviolent social impact philosophy from a historical perspective; define its principles and strategies; and identify their applicability to modern times and movements and current issues.
