  Working as Clinical Manager within the Seacroft Prosthetics Department I believe that my dedication and emphasis on ensuring that all aspects of the delivery of care to our amputees contributed to the high regard with which the centre was held nationally. National recognition of the Seacroft Prosthetic team’s efforts was received in the forms of the "Sharing Best Practice Award" at the NHS 2012 Lean Healthcare Academy and the Limbless Associations "DSC of Achievement Award" in 2009.In undertaking this role my focus was to support and encourage RSLSteeper and the NHS team members by inspiring individuals to fulfil their full potential whilst contributing to the overall success and output of the team as a whole. My role was a pivotal one both as the direct interface between external contractor and NHS Trust, required a high level of communication ability and resulted in a good morale and work ethos within the centre.
