  While travelling in Australia I applied to work for this Sales and Marketing Company. I was taught a wide range of sales techniques from learning to pitch to handling objections. The client I was given was Surf Life Saving Australia, a charity that provided equipment and training for volunteers who patrol the Australian beaches. This experience has taught me how to create relationships with customers very quickly and has improved my ability to sell to a wide range of people.• Weekly personal best sales total $56,000 raised for SLS. An office best and 7th highest sales total for the week across the whole of Australia.• Led a business trip to Bowen which raised $130,000 between four Sales Consultants.• Promoted to Leader within four days of starting. On each of the four days I was the highest seller in the office and was mentioned in the countrywide bulletin.• Promoted two independent contractors to Leader through training.• Attended the countrywide meet of all of the Appco Group companies and won a sales Achievement award.• Developed 1:1 relationships with customers.• Ran focus sessions in the morning meetings.   • Created a deal bible for Saga and Royal Mail’s IPO in which STJ had an integral role.• Created a report analysing eight banks’ request for proposals based on one of STJ’s client’s potential IPO.• Analysed the performances of other comparables so that the likely outcome of our client’s potential IPO could be mapped.• Every week I was responsible for writing up a list of companies that were rumoured to be contemplating an IPO and then present it to the company in their weekly meeting. This information I would acquire through online research.• Used Bloomberg and Dealogic software to create various databases, graphs and tables to aid presentations.• Built a Private Equity database for the EU and Asian Markets.
