  The Indiana Writers Center is a nonprofit organization that provides writing classes and workshops to writers of all ages and backgrounds. As a PR intern for the Building a Rainbow summer program, I was responsible for photography, social media, blog writing, videography, audio, etc. I was also equipped with skills such as professionalism, meeting deadlines, and communicating with others to achieve a common goal.

  In this role, I was able to assist all account teams as needed in addition to focusing on my dedicated account team, Vita Coco. My central responsibilities included drafting and sending pitches to target media, building press lists, content writing, and engaging in competitor research.
