  • Document product defects after welding, machining, coating and assembly of Gas turbine components and execute non-conformance reports in GE’s NCR system. • Maintain accurate inspection data and records in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) • Collaborate with Professional teams in Lean deployment in shop floor. • Utilizing Lean Six Sigma Quantitative Tools for Quality and Productivity. • Develop & maintain quality documentation aligned with GE repair engineering instructions. • Develop and maintain shop inspection procedures for all GE mature & advanced frames for various stages in repair process. • Maintain record of qualifications on components, including what is qualified, conditionally qualified, and in-process qualifications. • Job quality control on shop floor by performing inspections and tests to ensure that the services provided meet specific standards and specifications. • Development and maintenance of tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for quality control. • Collaborating with cross functional teams in multiple critical to quality projects to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and improve overall process efficiency. • Participating in the internal quality audits, and work with all departments to close all findings. • Review/ preparation of Repair Plans through engineering documents and drawings, obtaining engineering disposition working with repair engineering & development team. عرض أقل
