Recognized for National Maritime Domain Awareness Excellence Award distinguished in standing up the DHS ‘s South Florida Intelligence and Operation coordination center (JIOCC), serving as a force multiplier by acting as a unified command and control center, enhancing coordination efforts for operations between DHS partner agencies. Led DHS enterprise wide collaboration across the Miami, Key West, Jacksonville, and Tampa regional coordination mechanisms (ReCoMs) synchronize in the effectiveness of all DHS Maritime and aviation assets and producing over 450 joint intelligence and operation products, 4000% increase in operational posturing readiness. The JIOCC helped identify a Bahamian maritime smuggling network tied to an ongoing investigation operation related to Caribbean cocaine during a maritime surge operation. Creating over 100 Daily Force Lay downs proved instrumental in providing decision support and situational awareness of blue forces activities in the Caribbean during multilateral humanitarian operations in the aftermath of the 2021 earthquake in Haiti. Since the stand up in January 2021, the JIOCC answered 184 request for information parentheses (RFI‘s), produce 92 serialized/189 non-serialized Products, and 132 in your agency call notes to improve communications amongst federal partners, supporting 29 arrests, 19 apprehensions, and enable to seizure of over $630K in cash.
