  Research Intern

  I was part of the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) and Pathways to Faculty program at Purdue University. As a Research Intern there, I worked with Dr. Gregery T. Buzzard and Dr. Charles A. Bouman as well as Thilo Balke (Graduate Mentor) on exploring and automating hyperparameter network optimization. I used different Python libraries to develop and test different architectures for both classifiers and autoencoders to then analyze the qualities, in model and parameter count, versus a computer generated architecture.   Developed, analyzed, installed, implemented, and provided operational support for the assigned projects as part of the Product Development Team. Built and integrated multi-language support for STAFF-M, a human resources management application using C# and SQL. Worked on a file management system that improved the indexing of metadata for all 50 municipalities and increased lookup efficiency by 130% reducing the time taken from 4 seconds per file to 0.9 seconds.

  Developed, tested, and refactored a reverse engineering project used both internally and externally to allow for customized user endpoints for binary analysis using Django and Ghidra.Improved speed of binary data indexing for thousands of binaries in the existing database reducing complexity time from 2s to 600ms.
