Building combinatorial neural encoding models (GLM, RNN, regression) to understand how neurons encoded physiological states and behaviors. Working towards an analytical systems model of neuron interaction Working with Dr. Mariela Petkova and the Engert-Lichtman lab in collaboration with Google through the Summer Connectomics Internship. Reconstructing a model of the zebrafish brain to understand how zebrafish know the direction to swim without visual cues.
