  Patrick Chan is Managing Director and Co-founder of GAC Enterprise, formerly known as VISIONEDGE Technologies - an IAIR regional award-winning cleantech accelerator and consultancy firm assisting Asian Development Bank (ADB) currently in its implementation of the Low Carbon Technology Marketplace within its ADB Climate Technology and Network Finance Centre (CTNFC) for Asia Pacific. Patrick is a co-founder of Cleantech Marketplace Forum (CTMF), connecting clean technologies with investment, financing, projects and markets across the region. It currently facilitates projects across different cleantech sectors including renewable, energy efficiency, waste management, environmental pollution control, water, sustainable agriculture, sustainable transport, etc. seeking investment and financing. Patrick is also a council member of Singapore High Technology Association, a member of Institute of Management Consultants Singapore, and an advisor of Melbourne-based Cleantek Market and China-based LSC Capital.   Patrick is the CEO of GAC Ventures which provides both physical office space and facilities, as well as various growth acceleration support services and systems, including business and technology advisory, mentoring, training, overseas market access, access to venture and growth capital and project financing, as well as other business support for early stage start-ups, growth stage SMEs and overseas companies across technology and business sectors. GAC operates two Growth Acceleration Centres in Singapore, at Tanjong Pagar and MacPherson. It is also part of the GYRA consortium in the pilot implementation of the creative, cleantech and soft infrastructure clusters at Clark Green City in Philippines. GAC is also a Microsoft BizSpark Network and ISV Partner and runs the GAC-TP ComBIT (Competence Building in IT) Program for SMEs jointly with Temasek Polytechnic.Patrick was formerly Director of Industry Development, Singapore Business Federation and Singapore Sustainability Alliance, and served as Singapore cluster manager for International Cleantech Network. Before that, he was Assistant General Manager of CBI, an investment and private equity firm. He was co-chair of Start-Up@Singapore and held management positions in NUS Enterprise and KPMG Consulting. He had previously been headhunted as venture technologist based in Shanghai for Siemens and as Director, Industry Development for Institute of Singapore Charted Accountants driving Singapore's growth as a financial services hub. He had also served in the Exco of Bioenergy Society of Singapore and Singapore chapter of Asia Pacific ICT Alliance.Patrick also has considerable experience helping firms target overseas markets e.g. Canada, China, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Spain and ASEAN, and facilitated > $400 mil in business projects.
