      Head producer of Party Night, a retro slasher feature film, is in the final stages of post production. The first viewing, a sneak preview, will be hosted at the Alamo Drafthouse in KATY January 2017. Following this, Party Night will be presented at film festivals. The next film projects include a documentary of the Houston icon Herschel Berry and a short black comedy horror film. In the process of writing a sequel to Party Night. Currently at work on several writing projects-- including "All Tomorrow's Parties"--a nonfiction novel, "Green Day Dreams"--a look at the mature female fan culture of the band Green Day; a screenplay entitled "Elizabeth's Ark," Future projects include a sitcom to be proposed to cable, "Loaded Gun," a screenplay for the young adult horror novel by Sally Bosco "Werecats," and a documentary dealing with the famous Duke tradition of tenting. Work on the "Miss Darling" stories has been recognized as being a voice in the ongoing struggle for excellence in the American Public School System. Has written & presented two scholarly articles for the PCA/ACA--Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association in the areas of "Billie Joe Armstrong: New American Patriot" & women's use of tattooing as a reclaiming of body image.Has written & presented two scholarly articles for the PCA/ACA--Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association in the areas of "Billie Joe Armstrong: New American Patriot" & women's use of tattooing as a reclaiming of body image.
