Key accomplishment:• Reorganized and merged the accounting records of two companies purchased during a 24 month period that saw our revenue and customer base grow by 200 percent.

  Tele-Rad has five locations in western Michigan and is an authorized agent/dealer for Verizon Wireless and Motorola two-way radio products.Responsible for the company’s cellular operations, which included three retail locations and up to 16 employees. Developed and implemented the department’s annual marketing plan. Responsible for the department’s relationship with vendors and major customers, including Verizon Wireless. Key accomplishments:• Developed and implemented a centralized inventory distribution system for our retail locations that resulted in lower inventory levels and improved turnover.• Lead the internal employee team that evaluated and selected new computer software and hardware for the entire company.• Instrumental in the company obtaining Platinum Agent status, the only such agent in western Michigan. Examples of results include:• Working with an electrical contractor who in 2008 lost money, didn't know their margins, and who struggled with consistantly getting work. I helped him reorganize his financials and he now closely monitors gross profit margins & cash flow. I helped him create and systemize a couple of marketing strategies that work without his involvement, that deliver consistant work. At the end of 2009 the company had made double what it had lost in the prior year and the owner was working less! They now have a budget and plan for 2010 that should allow them to again double their profit.• Worked with a roofing contractor who was profitable but wanted to fine tune their sales operation in order to be more efficient. I worked with them on their sales process and marketing. We were able to: increase their closing rate from 45% to 49%, their total sales for the year by 10%, and more importantly their annual profit by 30%.• Assisted dozens of business owners who struggled with how to find good, qualified employees. I helped them to implement a different hiring process that was less time consuming, more focused on the individuals attitude & "heart" than skills, and that produced far better results than they had ever achieved in the past.
