  I am currently leading a team of AMA students in the creation of a full marketing plan. We will be doing detailed background research, primary research (surveys, man on the street, and focus groups), and creating integrated marketing communication solutions to the stated problem or goal.

  In the Team Leader role, I was responsible for overseeing all fleet managers at our terminal. I worked to make sure all fleet managers were maximizing weekly revenue and miles for drivers. I also helped facilitate orientation for new drivers and welcomed them to Marten Transport. I was responsible for getting new drivers up to speed on Marten policies and procedures. I worked as a fleet manager at the Marten Transport Tampa terminal for 2 years running a fleet of trucks and consistently hitting revenue and miles goals on a weekly basis. I was responsible for preplanning my trucks efficiently to cut deadhead (empty) miles and maximize drivers DOT clocks. I also was responsible for planning services and inspections on trucks to minimize downtime. I was promoted to Team Leader after 2 years.
