  While in high school, I was responsible for encouraging fellow students to both volunteer with the Red Cross, and donate blood. I handled all scheduling and insured that everyone had the proper forms and identification to be able to donate. During my senior year we beat the school record for amount of blood donated because I dedicated myself to helping as much as possible.

  I assisted in keeping the athletic facility clean and sanitary. I assisted with the Introduction to Statistics class by answering questions, when needed, during class time. I also held office hours where students could come for clarification on topics taught in class and assistance with homework. As the COVID-19 pandemic began affecting my area during this semester, I completed my work in both an in-person and virtual capacity. I helped students, to the best of my ability, to understand their mathematics. It was extremely important work because understanding empowers them to take charge of their education and embrace other difficult challenges. I worked alongside the rest of the employees to provide a positive dining experience for customers. This would not have been possible without constant communication about what needed to be done, and how best to do it.
