While employed at the Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, I achieved the title of Expert Nurse, became certified in ECMO, presented posters at the Pediatric Journal Conference and the March of Dimes Conference, was the chair of the NICU Staff Education Committee, the editor of the Crier newsletter for 3 years, was an EPIC Superuser for my floor for 8 years, and trained as a charge nurse.My interests include teaching parents how to care for their medically complex child at home, providing clinical support and training to staff and students, and working cooperatively alongside the multidisciplinary care team, consulting other disciplines as appropriate.
