      Information Communication Technology Officer

My current role includes delivering 2nd line support to the ICT service desk engineers on complex ICT issues and resolving problems or providing advice, as necessary. I also manage and assist local ICT technicians with their daily call incidents to meet Service Level Agreements for senior medical staff across the Health & Social Care Trust.I use Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) in the creation and deployment of applications, packages and task sequences. These are used to deliver desktop software and Windows 10 operating systems to devices across the trust. I look after Windows 10 feature update projects to keep all devices on the domain, secure and up to date. I have previously carried out in-place upgrades, upgrading Windows 7 devices to Windows 10 while keeping currently installed programmes and personalised settings to domain devices.I utilise Microsoft Active Directory to manage user accounts and organise domain devices into the correct Operational Unit (OU).I am a key member of two ICT project teams, which are delivering on a widespread rollout of new devices, in partnership with a 3rd party contractor in a number of managed phases. The second project is looking after the latest feature update rollout to Windows 10 devices. A completed project I used to work on was the in-place upgrade of any Windows 7 devices, which are capable of running Windows 10. I was also a apart of the trust-wide rollout of Microsoft Office upgrade to Office 2016 as well as Microsoft Teams. In December 2019, I achieved a PRINCE2 foundation certificate, providing me with the skills and knowledge to contribute to the projects above. I also completed an ITIL v4 Foundation Course gaining the skills to follow the frameworks for the effective management of the service desk incidents. Show less
