  Communications campaign officer

  I lead on communications campaign on the core theme of "Technology" that includes emerging technologies, startups and entrepreneurship, science, research, innovation, healthcare and life sciences. The campaign is focused at capitalising on the UK’s strengths as one of the global leader in technology and innovation, and the many opportunities for working in partnership with India. I am currently leading on the communications for the international (multilateral) UK-India coronavirus vaccine project and closely working Oxford University, AstraZeneca and other stakeholders to develop cohesive communications strategy. Recently, I supported in the repatriation of 16000 British national from India during 3-month long COVID 19 lockdown. This was the largest peacetime evacuation exercise by the UK Government. My role includes developing and maintaining a network of policy officials, partners and stakeholders; working on audience and insight development, key messages, implementation, evaluation and strategic communications and crisis management. I work in close collaboration with a wider team of colleagues in India and global network to develop and deliver campaigns, ensure a clear understanding of the activity, find stories, create up-to-date and compelling content, and maintain an awareness of potential sensitivities.
