   DETAIL PLANNING & SUBDIVISION, Perform land Sub-division, new communities design, execution of concept drawings, urban design and integrated planning. CONDUCT OF SPECIALIZED PLANNING & URBAN DESIGN STUDIES, to determine the overall dimensions and prospects of urban development including improving the physical environment and the visual impact of the area of Dubai. REHABILITATION OF COMMUNITIES, redevelopment of degraded, slum and rural areas. REVISION & APPROVAL OF MASTER PLANS by follow-up consultants for project planning and evaluation of the evolution of their work in terms of the proposed solutions and recommendations. CONDUCT PLANNING LEGISLATION and updating of policies for urban development in the emirate in line with new developments and new insights in the local environment or external influences. ALLOCATE LANDS & CORRIDORS FOR PUBLIC FACILITIES & UTILITIES, Identify suitable sites for land uses, including public services and facilities, compensation of affected plots and follow up any amendments to them. PREPARATION OF THE ANNUAL PLAN and periodic follow-up of the projects implemented according to plans, projects undertaken by the organizational units in the municipality. SUSTAINABILITY & GREEN PLANNING CONSIDERATION, based on a combination of the community input as well as research into best practices, data about access to open space, demographics contours and a variety of other considerations that will help sustain, create and improve the planning process that promote the health and quality-of-life benefits.
