Show less As Vicepresident for South Europe I was responsible of Spain, Italy and Portugal, with 4 plants in Spain and 4 in Italy.I launched the integration and merging process of the different legal entities in both countries, as well as the implementation of one single ERP per Country. We integrated all functions per country into one, such as Finance, HR, Marketing, Quality and Supply Chain, creating an organization focused on market and cohesive, bringing new talent to the organization. Starting from the different export departments in both countries, I created the new integrated International Business Development dpt. (IBD) bringing back to the organization the IBD Director, who was and still is, a key pillar in this successful story. We took advantage of the synergies from our portfolios and Commercials teams, streamlining the organization and becoming a leaner and more efficient one.I defined and organized the phase out of our company in China, handing it over to a third-party partner, so we secured a smooth transition, maintaining the business continuity, and reducing the operating costs and risks of being locally there. This new South Europe IBD organization was the embryo of what today is EMEA IBD, who adopted the concept and organization for whole Europe under the same structure and team that built it up in South Europe.
