Thermoplastic and carbon fiber frame was combined with aluminum sub-components to achieve required levels of strength and flexure while achieving necessary production requirements. Project was completed and released approximately 3 months ahead of published schedule.

  Designed and developed proprietary noise cancellation electronics into military headphones released for use on Apache helicopters. Adhered to strict ECN and product standards, meeting requirements to develop communication system per required protocols. Released approved documentation 4 months ahead of published schedule while developing lightweight assembly that exceeded required levels of performance.

  Invented and developed robotic inspection device providing 100% part verification on production line. Created sealed acoustic chamber and air driven mechanism to provide non-contact inspection method free of background noise and environmental variables. Resolved 15 year old manufacturing problem that provided approximately $150k in scrap avoidance and increased customer satisfaction.

  Created, tested and released equipment sub-assembly that reduced per unit cost from $2300 to $650 resulting in more than three million dollars in savings while meeting product specifications and regulator requirements. Supported and developed manufacturing equipment for multiple production lines and created released fixtures that increased production capacity while providing workplace safety. Invented process tooling to standardize worker output, decrease scrap and improve ergonomic compliance.
