  Fleet Engineering Manager – NLR & ELR – London Overground.

  Successfully managed Performance and Engineering of Class 378 operating on London Overground for 5 years. Part of the Project team which oversaw the project from manufacturing, deployment & in-service stages with the challenges posed by new trains, new depot, new infrastructure and very onerous commercial contract. Managed relationships between TFL, LOROL (TOC) & QW rail (ROSCO). Supported and delivered successfully Olympics requirements. Also supported bid teams during this period to win orders for 4 and 5 car extension workHad to overcome few challenges with some of the key train systems failing due to reliability / infrastructure compatibility issues, new depot facilities which were inadequate and wrongly specified and inadequate maintenance documents first issued. Was responsible for setting up number of processes & procedures including change management, safe working procedures, document control, risk assessments, and managing the integrity of manuals and maintenance schedules.   Product Safety:- Ensure product safety issues gets resolved in professional and timely manner at Bombardier Train Services managed depots in conjunction with Product Safety Team. Supporting processes and tools used for product safety management reviewed and improved to make them effective. Mobilisation of 710, 720 & 730 Aventra Fleets:- to ensure new fleet, depots and infrastructure are ready for fleet to go into passenger service in organised and controlled way, with similar processes , procedures and customer interfaces optimised from experience. Ensure sommoth transition from manufacturing to Services organisation during early phase.Project Management:-PM GSMR Fitment Class 375 & 376 - Managed GSMR radio fitment on legacy fleet using external contractors for LSER Train Operator.Engineering Manager: 357 Fleet, Aventra 710 fleet & 172 Diesel fleetGWR 387 TSSSA contract Mobilisation Manager:- Mobilised team for FGW Reading 387 TSSSA Project.
