Engineer working in the R&D department on the development of IoT monitoring systems for electrical machines. Over the years, I have worked in different areas, including firmware development, software development in Python for embedded Linux, hardware development, and documentation for manufacturing processes and product assembly. Knowledge in MEMs sensors such as accelerometers, temperature sensors, and magnetic field sensors. Capability to interpret vibration signals in electrical machines to identify failures, with a master's degree thesis related to the use of machine learning algorithms embedded in a microcontroller to detect unbalance and misalignment faults in electrical machines. Show less As a Trainee, I worked on a project named: Development of a sensor to detect failures in electric motors. The main roles were the development of new MEMS sensors for condition monitoring applications and firmware adaptation in C language for the STM32 microcontroller. I was responsible for doing some experimental tests to prove these sensors meet the requirements of the project. During the program, I did some research about condition monitoring technics using audio and vibration data applying signal analysis techniques such as Wavelet, Envelope, and Cepstrum. Show less
