  Researcher at Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Lab (BCN-AIM)

  - Worked on several Horizon Projects funded by the European Commission, including EarlyCause (€5 million), LongITools (€11 million) and STAGE (€17 million).- Conducted research on the interplay between health, environment, and ethical AI in the realm of exposome analysis.- Designed and developed disease predictive models utilising machine learning (ML) on large-scale cohorts such as UK Biobank, ELSA-Brasil, and NFBC.- Applied FUTURE-AI principles to ensure model transparency and fairness across various demographic attributes.- Authored and Co-authored multiple publications in high-impact journals in the area of medical AI.- Delivered presentations at international conferences, seminars, and workshops (e.g., NeurIPS, SIPAIM, SERAM, WiDS, Paula Rantakallio Symposium) to share my findings with the scientific community around the world (e.g., Spain, UK, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Chile).- Worked on policy-oriented reports including a published one on air quality indexes for the World Health Organitzation (WHO).- Co-supervised bachelor's and master’s students, reinforcing a commitment to knowledge sharing and the development of future researchers.- Provided introductory ML training to researchers from 7 European institutions, fostering collaboration and skill development.
