      My main role at Langdale Leisure Ltd, was the design of the printed material that they distribute to their guests and owners, I also worked closely with the Sales & Marketing Director to find new ways that we could promote the hotel & timeshare online, I was in control of all the sites that we advertised on and had to make sure they were up to date. I also updated the hotels website using html.

      After changing my roles I have taken control of more aspects of the online marketing involved with the 6 hotels in the chain, such as SEO, Google PPC platform. One of my major roles is to maintain the hotels website so my experience with CSS, HTML is key in doing this, I am also in control of the email marketing which we monitor and see if we are using correctly. I am involved in the design of various marketing material that we send to previous guests. I am currently putting together a plan of how best as a hotel group we can use social media (ie twitter, facebook etc). Show less

      South Lakeland Parks specialised in developing and operating holiday parks, with caravans and timber lodges for sale or hire, the company has 9 locations ranging from smaller caravan parks to larger holiday villages complete with leisure facilities. During my time at South Lakeland Parks I managed the content of 10 websites. I used my understanding of Digital Marketing to put together a digital marketing plan to increase sales of both holiday homes and holidays. Within the different arms of the company there was a vast difference in the duties I performed daily. I designed the content for the websites and also built design features to further enhance. I also controlled the email marketing which the company performs.
