  I took part in the design and the development of the new LMP1 car, R-ONE, on behalf of Rebellion Racing and the new LMP2 ORECA-03R, engaged in the World Endurance Championship (FIA) and the European Le Mans Series (ACO). - CFD engineer: aerodynamic development of the prototypes on Star-CCM+. o Prepare the geometry and the meshing o Design some components o Lead small projects, analysing and presenting the results o Work on oilflows during the shakedown of the car.- Laptime Simulation engineer: the sole laptime simulation engineer within the company, using ChassisSim. o Evaluate the correlation of ChassisSim compared to the one offered by Lapsim, previously used by ORECA o Creation of car and circuit models and full database o Simulations to validate design choices, research of performance and reduce fuel consumption o Contact with the suppliers and the team: writing reports for the exploitation of the car o Evaluation of the balance of performance Show less

  Duties: o Leading aerodynamic development (external and internal) of Le Mans Prototypes, WRC and Formula 3 through CFD o Analysing and understanding the results of wind tunnel and CFD testso Conducting Wind Tunnel tests prior and during the homologation process for the LMDh carso Creating and iterating new geometric solutions using CADo Supervising CAD designers work to ensure the aerodynamic intent is realisedo Improving the aerodynamic development methodology and processesProjects:o LMDh Hyundai/Genesis (2023-2024) : ORECA is totally in charge of the aerodynamic development of the new Hyundai LMDh car. o LMDh Alpine A424 (2022-2023): aerodynamic development with supervising of different Wind Tunnel sessions at Windshear (Charlotte, USA) and at Sauber (Hinwill, Switzerland) for the homologation process.o LMDh Acura-Arx06 (2020-2022): in partnership with the Honda Racing team based in the USA. I oversaw different Wind Tunnel sessions at Windshear (Charlotte, USA).o Citroën DS3 WRC (2019): worked mainly on the floor and on the front of the car. Most of our solutions gave a trend for other constructors.o LMP1 Rebellion R13 / Alpine A480 (2017-2019): development (performance and cooling) for the front, the underfloor and the rear of the car, under very tight deadlines.o LMP1 Car Development for Toyota Motorsport Gmbh (2016-2018): aerodynamic development in CFD with follow-up of the work of the CFD/Wind tunnel team based in Cologne, Germany.o LMP1 Fuel Cell Development for Toyota Motorsport Gmbh (2015-2017): led the CFD development and improved notably the refuelling time, helping Toyota to move from the slowest of the three manufacturers in the pits to the fastest. o LMP2 ORECA 07 (2015-2017): in charge of the aerodynamic development of the rear of the car and I took part actively in the general design of the car, with innovative proposals. The car is dominating since then in ELMS and WEC (winning every tittle and each 24th of the Le Mans). Show less
