Bhd., Malaysia Nov 2000 - PresentKey Responsibilities:1) Oversee entire backend assembly processes in Molding, Laser Marking, Deflashing, Trimming, Form Singulation and Vision Sorting process.2) Lead a process engineering team to ensure continuous alignment in quality policy towards achieving key performance indicator. 3) Product yield improvement and defect ppm reduction via continuous improvement activities in overall backend processes through 4M analysis.4) Process parameter optimization (DOE) to improve process robustness and to minimize product defect generation.5) Involve in new product design and development (NPI) via review on tool die & leadframe design and raw material selection to achieve high MSL performance and consistent product quality robustness.6) Involve in new process design and characterization to establish a stable and capable process with minimum disruption and defect generation.7) Apply FMEA, Control Plan and OCAP for effective QMS.8) Apply error proofing methodology for defect prevention.9) Work on reduction of variation and waste in supply chain to achieve lean manufacturing as per ISO/TS16949 requirement.10) Initiate process change and ensure effective execution of CIM. 11) Work and align with cross-functional team including Production, Maintenance, Tooling, QA, Material Planner and all supporting groups to improve overall product cycle time and quality.12) Drive material cost saving project by sourcing alternative raw and supporting materials. 13) Seek opportunity for process simplification to improve production cycle time and reduce production cost.14) Review customers engineering specification and ensure effective implementation.15) Periodic review and update internal engineering specification.16) Handle 8D reporting on product quality issue.
