  As a registered nurse in the Emergency Department, I have fine tuned my skills in triage, emergency medicine and nursing care, trauma and critical care nursing, and have recently been licensed as a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) per the San Joaquin Count EMS Agency. With this licensure, I am a liaison between EMS providers in the field and the county base hospital physician, and I have the resources to orchestrate a mass casualty incident (MCI) should one occur within the county lines.
