  In 2020 i progressed into a business support and development role as Technical Development Manager in tandem with my role as Technical Project Manager.In my new role, i am responsible for developing and discovering new products to provide significant competitive edge to the business. In addition to product development i am also responsible for supporting the technical development of our internal teams which requires me to assist in co-developing and delivering technically focused training sessions for our field staff and office based teams. I am also heavily involved in managing technically focused projects and developing front and back end application based solutions to provide higher levels of efficiency and productivity internally and outwith. Show less In my role as Technical Project Manager i was responsible for the successful and efficient management of Medium to Large Scale, heavily technically focused projects including flagship Immersive Virtual Cycling studios and full facility level AV integrations consisting of data, telecoms, studio AV systems, background music solutions and bespoke integrated automation systems.Whilst in this role i identified a requirement for efficient support systems to enable our internal teams to better serve our customer base and took it upon myself to develop server based applications to report issues before they became an issue for our clients and flag them with our internal teams. In addition to internal reporting, the applications allowed for a modular based approach depending on the systems employed to offer our internal teams the ability to resolve issues at the click of a button rather than having to enter complex commands to various endpoints at the problem site. This allowed for real time problem analysis and resolution to facilitate minimal downtime for our client base whose premises employed these systems. Show less In my role as Junior Project Manager i was responsible for managing smaller scale projects as well as assisting with larger projects while i found my feet within the company.I managed several AV, Network infrastructure and telecoms related projects within my first year and strengthened my project management experience whilst also solidifying my position as a strong technical resource for the company. By the end of the year i was tackling mid-level projects with increased complexity.In my first year i displayed a keen interest in developing AV related automation and reporting / troubleshooting platforms for use in our day to day operations to allow for significant cost savings and improved efficiency to the business and its operations. This was an instrumental factor which lead me to the next step in my progression with the company.As i learned more about the operations of the business and developed in-depth technical knowledge of many of our key systems, i became a key support member for our internal teams to allow for more streamlined and efficient service to our customers by providing third line technical support to our internal help-desk team.
