  Kendra S. Smith is a Litigation Paralegal located in the Firm’s Grand Rapids office. Mrs. Smith performs a variety of paralegal functions, for multiple attorneys who are members of the Firm’s Motor Vehicle Litigation, General Negligence, Property, Fire and Casualty, Premises Liability, Construction, Insurance Coverage, and Family Law Practice Groups. Kendra Smith possesses vast knowledge and is well-experienced in matters encompassing first-party, third-party and provider litigation as well as general liability defense matters.Mrs. Smith joined Secrest Wardle in January of 2014. Since joining the Firm, she has been an integral part in providing client-focused legal representation as a Litigation Paralegal. She possesses distinct capabilities in providing our clients with efficient, professional, and high quality legal services.Kendra S. Smith earned her Associate of Science degree in 2012 from Davenport University, through an ABA approved curriculum. She was inducted into the LEX Honor Society, founded by the American Association for Paralegal Education, as a member of Lambda Epsilon Chi. She was also a recipient of the National Excellence in Leadership Award, a Presidential Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, remained on the Dean’s List for five consecutive semesters and graduated with a GPA of 3.89.   Kendra serves as the Administrative Assistant, and point of contact, for TRTC. Kendra is responsible for completing the intake, set up, tracking, communications, analysis, document preparation, and research for all matters where TRTC experts have been retained, while also providing valuable Paralegal experience in all she does. She keeps the ball rolling by fulfilling a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly. TRTC employs a team of experienced experts utilizing specialized equipment to gather evidence from an accident site, and the vehicles, to provide clients with answers as to how an accident occurred. TRTC also employs experts with immeasurable background in fleet operations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, US Department of Transportation regulations, and commercial trucking collisions. Kendra is also cross trained in the operations for the sister company of TRTC, FCG- Fleet Compliance Group.
