  Led the statewide process to integrate energy and environmental policy functions into a cohesive framework designed to advance the Governor’s vision of clean, reliable, and affordable energy, and established Connecticut’s Energy Policy and Technology Bureau. Key initiatives included: Comprehensive Energy Planning, Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) Development: Directed staff and managed the stakeholder engagement process for IRP planning, development and implementation for Connecticut’s IRPs issued in 2010, 2012, and 2014. Developed the nation’s first microgrid program Critical component of Connecticut’s resiliency strategy in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. Show less

  Managed approximately 100 employees across four Divisions: Engineering, Planning, Enforcement, and Radiation. The Air Bureau’s mission is to advance Connecticut’s strategies on clean air, climate change and radiation safety. Manage staff across three Bureaus (Air, Materials Management, Water Protection and Land Reuse) charged with protecting and enhancing Connecticut’s air, water, and land. Our talented and capable team implement a diverse set of environmental quality programs which include environmental planning, monitoring, permitting, enforcement, and the clean-up of contaminated sites.
