  VK.com is a social network with over 100 million monthly active users. It is heavily focused on mobile apps for all platforms. According to SimilarWeb, VK is the 25th most visited website in the world. Our team is responsible for video and calls.- Built a QA department from scratch. Interviewed, hired and onboarded each of the 24 team members.- Mentored junior QA engineers and helped in their professional development, resulting in improved test processes and better-quality software. There were 5 of them in total.- Contributed to the testing of key features of our product, including “Noise canceling in video calls”, “Auto Subtitles in video”, “Improvement video quality with help of AI”, resulting in improved functionality and user experience.- Implemented an effective bug tracking process, resulting in reducing the number of duplicate tasks and a reduction in the meantime to find defects.- Did set up QA processes integrated across multiple teams.- Integrated an approach where a feature cannot be released without an A/B test. This helped to reduce the number of incidents in production by 75% and allowed to increase in the number of crash-free users. Overall I was supporting over 200 API automated tests and over 300 web UI automated tests (about 70 of them were developed by me).- Contributed to the testing of key features of our flagship product, including “Adding friends by photo”, “Finding friends on videos”, “Video call recording”, resulting in improved functionality and user experience.- Developed and maintained a comprehensive set of test cases for multiple software products, increasing product quality and reliability.- Conducted usability testing and provided feedback to the development team, increasing user satisfaction.
