Kazakhstan (Moldabek Field - EmbaMunay Gaz): Including 5 different types of wells for the FDP of a shallow unconsolidated heavy oil reservoir. These wells are vertical producers; water injectors; steam injectors; vertical appraisals; and shallow horizontal wells (~ 200 - 250 m TvD)2. Uzbekistan (Gazli Field - Uzbekneftegaz): Horizontal oil producers wells to be drilled through ~ 300 - 500 m gas storage layers3. Azerbaijan (Sangachal Field - SOCAR): The FDP included evaluating different types of wells land and offshore. The wells are Vertical wells ~ 3000 m; S-shape at 3000 - 5300 m; Horizontal wells 5600 - 9000 m. Badra Project is one of the most challenging projects for IPM in the world at the time it is being implemented. I was part of the team during the early stages of the project during which I participated in the DWOP exercise done with the Client as well as the Project's Readiness Review (PRR) and Project's kick off meeting. The 26" surface hole section was drilled deeper than 2100 m [~ 7000 ft.] to run and cement the 18 5/8" surface casing. I was in charge of well BD4, the fastest well for IPM to be drilled through these formations in Badra filed in 382 days. My role is a well engineer. At the time of assignment, we are at the startup phase which is considered challenging. I'm working on drilling program, design, risk assessment for the project and operations, required documents, EOWR, TvD curves, and all other necessary work required in the DEE cycle. It's very important as well to identify the risks ahead and working on preventing occurrence that could be very expensive.I was also holding some training sessions for one of Schlumberger Clients - ROO (BP JV). This training sessions were part of the Fast Track drilling Program, and included topics that I taught such as: rig sizing; rig systems; drillstring design; basic hydraulics; casing design; wellheads; BOP equipment. عرض أقل FOD Project, Basra, Iraq. FOD is a lumpusm project with ExxonMobil.The scope is to drill 10 wells in West Qurna Field, 3 different well types. The scope of the contract is extendable upon agreement with both parties. The main responsibilities are designing wells, preparing drilling program, follow up operations, evaluate and keep the continuous improvement.I was the only well engineer during the start-up of this project (first assignment t Iraq). It was really challenging, but the results were fruitful. We achieved a record in the field drilling the first well which made the client to send us a recognition letter. My efforts were recognized by the line management, and I received an IPM pro-award in return.I was asked to move to a more challenging project that is - at this time - in the start-up phase. عرض أقل Neftrack (sidetrack) Project, NNG Operations. A lumpsum project in Western Siberia, Russia with 6 RMG rigs where IPM is responsible for well engineering, well site supervision, and evaluation. NefTrak scope was mainly drilling re-entry sidetrack wells with different profiles (S-shape, deepening, horizontal, and horizontal with pilot hole). The siderack is done from Cased Hole (CH) using a one-trip whipstock system, then the different well profiles are drilled in slim hole to Total Depth (TD) ~ 3500 m Measured Depth (MD). For the horizontal wells, they were drilled with ~ 300 m horizontal section, logged using Tough Logging Conditions (TLC), and then completed using a slotted liner, External Casing Packer (ECP), solid liner, and a liner hanger with top packer. It is very challenging to lay down the horizontal wells in very tight reservoir (some times less than 0.5 m) while drilling these slim holes under extreme weather conditions. I was working as a Well Engineer both in the field and at the office. عرض أقل PICO-Amapetco Project consisted of drilling 5 deviated producion wells in the Amal field offshore Gulf of Suez with one jackup rig. Reponsibilities included operations support & services coordination, well engineering, and offshore rig exposure. Also helping in some projects in business development phase. The wells were drilled through mostly a salt dome structure that extends from the top of the reservoir to 200 m below the sea bed and reached 40 deg at 3100 m (MD) after kicking off shallow at 400 m. عرض أقل
