  Working as a handicap helper has provided me with multiple skills and experiences. Some of the most significant skills I have developed:Mobility Support: Through assisting individuals with limited mobility I have gained expertise in providing them with necessary aid using specialized equipment like walkers and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have developed techniques for executing safe transfers and navigating diverse environments. Communication and Companionship: My experience as a handicap helper has greatly enhanced my communication skills while enabling me to effectively engage with elderly individuals and provide them with companionship. Throughout this process I have learnt the importance of active listening, engaging in meaningful conversations and offering emotional support. Organization and Time Management: I have contributed to managing appointments, medication schedules, and daily routines that have undoubtedly sharpened my organizational and time management skills. I understand the significance of maintaining a structured and efficient approach to meet the needs of the elderly. Safety Awareness: Providing care for individuals with disabilities or limited mobility necessitates an unwavering focus on safety precautions. Consequently, I have acquired knowledge and experience in identifying potential hazards, implementing preventive measures and ensuring a safe environment for those under my care. Empathy and Patience: The close interaction with elderly individuals has deepened my empathy towards them whilst also strengthening my patience. Through this experience I now possess a compassionate approach towards understanding their unique challenges. Providing reassurance whenever necessary, as well as adapting to their individual preferences and communication styles.   As a front-end development student worker I have acquired a range of skills that are beneficial in the field of web development. I am proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
