      Won a Circle of Excellence award out of 1800 employee along with several additional service excellence awards. Built 34 servers for a new Centricity PACS system including failover servers running at an offsite location.Virtualized 95% of our physical servers by implementing Cisco UCS and EMC VNX in our data center. Added new hosts to UCS and new Storage to the VNX as the company expandedManaged all VMWare upgrades. Started at version 4.1 now running version 6.7.Migrated all servers and storage from VNX 5300 to VNX 5400. Moved the VNX 5300 to an offsite location and connected to a 4 host UCS to use for failover servers and second copy backups.Monitored 150 virtual servers and 100 virtual desktops to ensure 100% uptime.Provisioned all storage on file and block side of VNX SAN.Worked with a team to replace Nortel network with Cisco, including Core Switches and all 25 data closets.Achieved better wireless coverage by upgrading Cisco controllers to newer OS to support the newest access points and adding over 100 access points to the network.Provided remote access for vendor support and other hospitals to send diagnostic images by configuring tunnels on Cisco ASA.Have been an integral part of almost all new projects by building, configuring and supporting all new servers.Improved backup reliability and ease of use by implementing a Unitrends appliance, and later adding a virtual Unitrends appliance on our offsite SAN.
