      May 2022 - May 2023
      Undergraduate Research Assistant

As my first expedition into research, I worked closely with my research lead to create an app using Kotlin and MIT App Inventor that enabled real-time updates to the Chromorphous Fabric for efficient, real-time color change. After our iterative updates and changes, the app in its late stages was able to command the fabric to produce intricate patterns and different colors.

      Undergraduate Research Assistant

Collaborated with a team of researchers to conduct experiments that tested the limitations and different applications of propagation invariant Space Time Wave Packets. Several different experiments were done both in lab and on TISTEF's laser testing range. The propagation distance capabilities of the one dimensional STWP was tested in turbulent conditions, showing promising results at distances greater than a kilometer. This research enhanced my knowledge of deceivingly simple physical concepts such as diffraction, dispersion, and polarization and how they can be applied in higher level applications. Show less

      May 2023 - Aug 2023
      Thin Film Engineering Intern

During my time at MKS Irvine, I collaborated closely with on-site engineers and technicians to explore the intricacies of thin film quality control, deposition processes, and data analysis. I gained a deep understanding of the science behind various deposition methods, the functioning of different chambers, and how to properly analyze process data acquired during a run.I also had the opportunity to conduct analyses on light transmission, reflectance, and the complex refractive index of deposited films. This hands-on experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also strengthened my commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and reliability in thin film manufacturing. Show less
