  Department: Deals, Advisory ServicesMy role: Financial and Legal Advisor Work performed:1) Providing corporate finance and transaction support services, such as:(i) valuations of private enterprises / assets;(ii) impairment reviews of assets / CGUs;(iii) financial due diligence reviews for varying size companies and across numerous industries;(iv) preparation of business plans regarding potential investments;(v) market research and analysis of internal / external data on industries, as well as, considering laws and regulations re new entrants in an industry.2) Providing banking support services to financial institutions, such as:(i) credit file reviews for assessing the borrowers’ performance status by applying the ECB’s and EBA’s guidance on the classification of non-performing exposures;(ii) buy-side due diligence reviews and strategy formulation for the potential acquisition of loan portfolios by investors, by assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers, liquidity of encumbrances, status of legal proceedings and possible actions under Cyprus law (foreclosure, receivership etc);(iii) assistance in the Carve out of divisions of a major financial institution that managed the Non-Performing Loans and Real Estate portfolios, in order for these divisions to be managed by an external provider. Among others, formulated the agreement that would exist between the financial institution and the external provider regarding their dependent services.3) Performing legal research and drafting legal documents.
