Manage multiple Storage Area Networks residing on EMC hardware (DMX2000’s) and Connectrix ED-64M’s utilizing ECC 5.2 to create zones, zone sets, and zone set libraries, as well as monitoring the overall health of the various frames. Configured SRDF\AR solution to meet site Disaster Recovery requirements. Configured TEIM with VSS via scripts to employ solution, which improved WAN availability by migrating from log based replication to hardware based.Migrated over 2TB of storage of off aging Symmetrix 8530 to a DMX2000 to improve availability and supportability. Configure connectivity from the Host Bus Adapter (HBA) on the host to the fibre channel (FA) port on the switch using the rule of 17. Updated the hosts HBA firmware configuration to allow them to boot off the SAN.Upgraded/migrated storage frames from a Symmetrix 8530 to a DMX2000 using TimeFinder. Added an additional FC switch (ED-64M) for system redundancy.Stood up and managed a Symmetrix 8430. Aided in the migration from the Symmetrix 8430 to the Symmetrix 8530. Present customers with storage space using SYMCLI commands to available META volumes and standard devices. Administer multiple Microsoft Exchange sites, engineered and implemented disaster recovery practices and implemented information life cycle management processes utilizing EMC’s Centera platform and KVS archiving. Coordinate with EMC CE’s to access to the SCIF for hardware upgrades and BIN file modifications.Administer clustered W2K3 servers running Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) and Veritas Volume Replicator (VVR).Administer Domain Controllers, File/Print servers, and Application servers on three separate W2K domains.
