  Key Responsibilities• Understand the process of preparation of fibers from different pulps and read the required literature about the same.• To aid with the dope preparation and dope spinning process for preparation of fibers.• Identify ionic impurities present in various pulp spin bath solutions and their removal through ion exchange process at the lab scale and pilot scale.• Inspect the decrease in impurities of various pulp solutions with different analytical techniques such as conductivity, pH, Refractive Index (RI), Color. • Analyze and optimize reduction of impurities by changing different experimental parameters such as velocity, resin ratio, number of passes and flow scheme.• Determine bed exhaustion rate of the ionic resins and the bed volumes required for the exhaustion of bed.• To regenerate the exhausted resin bed at pilot and lab scale, for the efficient re utilization of resins.• To safely and with efficient time management, conduct experiments to avoid errors in results.• Responsible to safely handle hazardous chemicals and dispose them in proper waste containers.• To participate in weekly safety meetings and contribute valuable points to avoid safety incidents.
