Activities and Societies: I was vice chair person of the student Council, played cricket for the College first team. I was the founder of the later defunct Oudtshoorn Resource Centre, a political grouping. I represented the College on the South Western Districts Cricket Board under the auspices of the South African Council on Sport. In Paarl I was the founder member of the Grass Roots Educational Projects, a community based organisation that introduced political education to community organizations and its members.
