  A the annual gathering of the country’s student journalists, NASH80 celebrated and continued the traditions of the Canadian University Press, which has brought university papers together for 80 years. One of the most unique and diverse conferences in student press history, NASH80 brought 250 students to Toronto and featured 67 influential speakers—such as Desmond Cole, Ginella Massa, Robyn Doolittle, Andree Lau, Vicky Mochama, Shireen Ahmed and many more.The theme, “Connect,” was chosen as an homage to CUP’s most consistent success—the ability to unite student journalists from across the country and give them an opportunity to meet each other, network with industry professionals, and learn new ideas.   Dropbike is Canada's first and only smart bike sharing service. Based in Toronto, the Dropbike team has grown exponentially and launched in many different markets including cities and campuses. At Dropbike, my job consisted of managing the company's different avenues of communication, such as media relations (+40 articles to date), messaging, marketing and social media, user-facing content, as well as assisting with content or messaging for business development and government relations.
