  The robustdetails® scheme is the only alternative to pre-completion sound testing to demonstrate compliance with Requirement E1 of the Building Regulations.As Technical and Development Manager, my primary role is to manage the Candidate Robust Detail (CRD) process, whereby new Robust Details are added, or existing Details amended.This process involves:• Meeting with manufacturers and trade associations, and advising on the process• Liaising with acoustic experts • Preparing and presenting papers at committee• Coordinating the production and distribution of updates to the HandbookAdditionally, I am one of only two able to provide expert technical advice on the use of the Scheme to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. I am a regular contributor to technical publications, and have presented at a number of seminars. Show less
