  As one of the original employees of this company, I helped IHE grow from just an idea to a national mortgage lender offering diverse mortgage products through a variety of channels. I was a master at helping the company achieve its business goals in a legally compliant manner and enjoyed the process of helping take business goals from ideas to reality. My notable accomplishments at IHE include serving as a key member of the leadership team as it created and added new mortgage products and expanded its operations into 47 states with a final loan portfolio of over $2B. I also developed, monitored and tailored loan programs, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing consumer credit and privacy inluding the Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Real Estate Settlement & Procedures Act and Regulations B, P and Z.I gained experience when I led the in-house Legal Department in 10 securitization bond issuances totalling $1B and, in the process, worked with the company's Treasury and Finance teams, investment banks, rating agencies and outside counsel. I also reviewed, negotiated and drafted vendor contracts and leases.
